Pre-Searing
Ok, my last post http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10214282 got deleted (i shouldnt have posted names or anything, but a lock would have been sufficient in my opinion, because the names where on a forum already)
So this time i do it different and try to start a normal discussion about it.
Why doesnt A-Net do anything about Post items in Pre-Searing.
In my opinion it still feels like cheating after the abuse of glitches.
And is unfair to people who actualy try to get there Legendary Defender of Ascalon items in a normal way.
For example the superior runes (wich are being sold at rediculous high prices, people want big profits) that take away 75 health and make deathleveling a lot quicker.
So yes, those people hurt me in some way, because i do it whitout them, so i can at least say that i have done it the hard way and have great satisfaction from the title.
Please A-Net do something about this and dont allow any Post items in Pre.
Also wondering if the latest glitch from 21 October 2007 is already fixed, or are there still more Post items coming into Pre ?

I'm 100% surprised Anet even gives a rats ass about Pre-searing. Be lucky they do anything for Pre, its not even a major part of the game unless you really like pain.

Report people with proof and they get banned, simple as it is.

I find it hard to care about the time it takes for people to death level, and the Legendary Defender of Ascalon title must be the most hilariously mis-named title in the entire game.
Just report them, it's all you can do. If you get the title the hard way (!?!?!) at least you have the self satisfaction of knowing you did it without exploits.

Hmmm well since we bring up this title I really think there shoudl be an alternative method of gaining level 20 in pre, death leveling in itself is stupid considering you are meant to defend ascalon not die to make the critters more powerful

When people started taking things into pre the first time it wasnt a glitch and people didnt know that they were cheating so why punish them whens it Anets fault?

My suggestion: Remove LDoA from game. =O Then you have no issues.

There seems to be a critical misunderstanding of the purpose of LDoA, ANet's caring of Presearing, etc.
LDoA is a title meant to honor what some people were ALREADY DOING. People figured out how to hit Level 20 prior to the title existing. The pre-searing community's buzz about Level 20 in Pre caused the title to exist.
ANet cares a VERY LARGE amount about Pre-Searing, and maintaining the separated integrity of it from the rest of the game. Any glitch items are confiscated, and if you regularly try to exploit glitches (this is POST guild hall glitch), you get banned. In exchange for the hardline policy on it, ANet has provided Charr Bags (same as a Bag + Rune of Holding) and Charr Salvage Kits (5 use Expert Salvage, only way to get runes/insignia/mods off things).
Pre-Searing and the community around it is different from the rest of Guild Wars. If you don't believe me, roll a perma-pre and stick around for a while. You may come away surprised.

As Avarre pointed out when he closed this last time, there is nothing anyone can do about it here.
